Terms of service

Under the applicable provisions of the Macau SAR there are no formalities inherent to the solicitation of legal counseling and thus any inquiry directed to our lawyers will be (unless otherwise provided) construed as an immediate engagement of our services and charged at our standard hourly rate of MOP5,000.00 (patacas), excluding disbursements (meaning any and all expenses incurred by counsel related with the representation / advice being rendered).

The communications sent by our counsels (including respective attachments) are confidential information and contain privileged material, which is protected from disclosure by law. If you are not in the intended addressee and thus received a given communication by mistake, you should not disseminate, distribute or copy the same. In such scenario, please notify the sender immediately and then after destroy the said communication as appropriate.

It should be noted that currently there is no legal regime governing law firms and thus the applicable provisions mandate that each lawyer (who must be necessarily registered and consequently insured in Macau) is individually and solely responsible for the legal representation / assistance provided.
